According to 2010 data, released by the Pew Forum, the vast majority of the people of Jamaica is a follower of Christianity, which is the religion of 77.1% of the population.

Protestant denominations have a higher percentage of adherents, with 72.8% of Jamaicans to consider themselves Protestant.

There are 70 000 believers of Catholicism in Jamaica, which corresponds to 2.6% of the population, less than 0.1% are Orthodox and and 1.6% follow other aspects of Christianity.
